Following the successful launch of our ‘Celtic Legacy’ watch on Kickstarter in 2022/2023, we are now proud to present our new ‘Supernatural’ automatic regulator range, our latest and boldest design yet. Our new watch range is derived from Celtic inspiration, in designs that focus on a sense of clarity, consistency, and cohesion.
The essence of the ‘Supernatural’ range captures the eloquent spirit of Celtic deities, with hints of ancient Irish Ogham (᚛ᚑᚌᚐᚋ᚜) script. Featuring a 316L stainless steel case, and a modified asymmetrical automatic regulator configuration, the watch comes complete with elegantly crafted leather strap options. Our stunning new dials are available in textured silver, or with an inspiring multicoloured graphic reflecting the legendary Triskele.
So, what is a regulator watch?
Essentially, it’s a watch where each time register is measured individually. While we’re used to seeing the seconds measured on a sub-dial, the regulator takes this a whole step further; splitting the hours, minutes, and seconds, and containing them within individual dials. Regulators mark the hours on a second larger sub-dial; leaving only the minute hand to track the main outer dial of the watch, providing greater visual clarity.
The ‘Supernatural’ range acknowledges the historical significance of this complication; by offering a highly functional and visually appealing way of measuring time. While a regulator watch may not be quite as intuitive (at first) with how it displays the time, it is really very easy to get used to. It’s exclusive asymmetrical dial configuration also stimulates far great overall visual interest, while offering an elegant and captivating departure from the typical chronograph, or calendar watch.
